James Board,

Patriot

 

Over the past year, much effort has gone into documenting the life of James Board, Senior, in preparation for a book on the Virginia history of the Board Family. As a result of this effort, James Board, Senior, was declared a Patriot by the Daughters of the American Revolution in December 1998. He now takes his rightful place with everyone else who contributed to the American cause. Everyone who can prove direct lineage from James Board is now eligible for membership in the Daughters or Sons of the American Revolution.
